The VIK-2K electronic warfare system provides reliable protection against enemy drones

The VIK-2K electronic warfare system

The VIK-2K electronic warfare system effectively neutralizes DJI Mavic-type drones by suppressing their operating frequencies in two bands. Its 100 W power allows you to quickly and reliably stop enemy drones. Developed by order of the Airborne Assault Forces of Ukraine, this system has already proven its effectiveness in combat conditions.

Advantages:

  • lightweight, field version with one battery up to 10kg
  • quick and universal mounting of the antenna on a backpack, in your hands, on a tripod
  • any power source 20-29V 10A, for example, batteries for FPV
  • operation from 220V, while simultaneously charging the battery
  • remote control and power supply of the device
Frequency bands:
2350-2480MHz/5700-5880MHz
Suppression range minimum
50m
Weight
~10kg

up to 2 hours
EW set components:
VIK-2K (backpack, antenna, high-frequency electronics unit), control panel, 28V 20Ah battery 2pcs, tripod, 6m extension cable, charger, documentation

The main purpose of this electronic warfare device is to protect mobile assault groups during their advance or deployment to positions from drone-dropped ammunition, specifically from drones of the DJI Mavic type

160m+ using a panel directional antenna, making sure that the pilot is located at least 1000 m away.

  • Form factor: assault (tactical)-type backpack
  • Low device weight: ~10 kg, including one battery
  • Various antenna placement options:
    • fixed on the backpack
    • held by the EW operator
    • mounted on a tripod for stationary use
  • The EW system blocks the operation of DJI Mavic-type UAVs in two standard bands: 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz
  • High-performance antenna with superior SWR
  • An active cooling system guarantees stable operation of the complex for extended periods without the risk of overheating or halting operation
  • Capability for remote control and powering of the device
  • Quick and easy battery replacement
  • Three available power supply methods:
    • Internal battery supply (autonomous operation time of 2 hours+)
    • External 220 V network power supply with simultaneous battery charging
    • External batteries and a 24V DC power supply

  • The device is placed in a specially designed assault (tactical) backpack that combines ease of carrying with equipment protection. The aluminum internal frame provides structural rigidity and reliably shields key components.
  • The control panel is attached to the backpack strap, allowing quick and convenient device control while monitoring the battery charge.
  • The location and accessibility of the battery allow rapid and easy replacement when necessary.
  • The backpack features external power connectors to power the device or charge the battery.
  • The device is equipped with a remote cable (up to 6 meters), allowing control and connection to the battery or charger remotely.
  • The antenna is mounted on the backpack using a specialized mount for easy angle adjustment. This design lets the operator quickly detach the antenna and move it manually.
  • Additionally, the device includes a tripod for antenna mounting when deploying the device at a position, allowing the operator to secure the backpack with electronics in a protected location.
  • The antenna feeder mounts utilize high-quality N-Type connectors, facilitating quick antenna or feeder replacement without special tools, even under field conditions.
