Testing of the Portable EW VIK-2K Successfully Completed

Another round of testing for the VIK-2K portable electronic warfare device, developed for the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, took place at a training ground. During the test, a DJI Mavic-type drone was successfully disabled while still approaching and couldn’t get closer than 160 meters.

The VIK-2K was designed for the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces and is intended to suppress drone control and communication channels in two primary frequency ranges (2350–2480 MHz and 5700–5880 MHz). Its 100-watt power output allows it to quickly and reliably neutralize enemy drones.

The device offers several advantages: a weight of up to 10 kg, a universal antenna mount (on a backpack, handheld, or tripod), autonomous operation for up to 2 hours, and the ability to be powered by both batteries and a standard 220V power supply. The kit includes everything necessary for rapid deployment and use in field conditions.

The VIK-2K EW system has once again confirmed its combat effectiveness and remains vital in countering enemy UAVs.
